This is bike to work week and as we live where we work, we biked our way around town on errands yesterday: Mailing packages, dropping off videos (not work related) and picking up our freshly roasted Alakef Ellery House Blend Organic coffee. Thankfully none of these stops were far so we had time for a ride on the Lakewalk out to the end of Park Point on a gorgeous 77 degree sunny day. Crab apples are just starting to pop out and lilacs are not far behind, so biking in the fresh air was perfect for catching whiffs of their sweet scents.
The final Duluth Superior Symphony Concert is happening this Saturday, May 19th and I will be playing this one. The music of Schubert, Schumann and Leshnoff's violin concerto will fill the hall. Anyone looking for a great room (Daisy's Suite and Sunporch) and two $10 tickets to the symphony this weekend, give us a call or reserve on-line.
Duluth is your escape from the heat of the Twin Cities (we heard 92 degrees in Stillwater yesterday!).
That's all for now from The Ellery House.
